This type of repair extends from manhole to manhole through the existing sewer line. When completed, you have a new pipe that can stand alone as if it were installed through an open cut, but with one big difference - no excavation.
LEFT:Lining for PWSA without disturbance
Insight Pipe Contracting, L.P. has installed over 750,000 feet of liner over the past fifteen years for municipalities and for commercial and industrial owners. The largest length installed in one day was 1200 feet in a single shot from manhole to manhole.
All work is done from manhole to manhole with no ground disturbance, and no complaints about damage to driveways, lawns, landscaping, and roadways.

Point repairs can be done on lines ranging in size from six to thirty-six inch diameter pipe, and can usually be completed in a day depending on access to the site.
The point repair process is simple;
First the line is televised and cleaned
Then the point repair bag is pulled in the pipe and inverted.
The
repair is then air-cured and the bladder removed.
Finally, a post-repair inspection reveals a
"new" pipe within the existing line.
The result is no excavation and no complaints from homeowners.
